This suit of armor is a replica of originals from the 1st half of the 15th century. It is made in the Milanese style that was emerging at that moment. The helmet is a pig face bascinet that was used since the 2nd half of the 14th century. The wide pauldrons do not only protect the shoulders, neck and armpits, but also prevent that the arm pieces can be blocked by the cuirass, leg armour and sabatons..
